About James McIntosh
-
James
is an executive consultant with VSP Inc. in Richmond, VA.
Since 1988, his consulting purpose has been simply
to make organizations and
teams more effective. This he does mainly through his proven ability to
uncover what an organization or team can become and then to assist management
in creating it.
-
He has
more than 20 years consulting experience
in different
business environments, including the public sector and non-profits. During
this period he has been directly involved in diversification strategies, the
integration of acquisitions, start-ups, the sale of business units and
corporate turnarounds from bankruptcy.
-
VSP Inc. is the follow-on to a consulting business which James
founded, with his current colleague VSP, in 1990 in Cape Town, South Africa.
Building on James’ experience in developing customized strategic planning
processes, they developed a
perceptual analysis tool and a strategic planning
process
which together link execution directly to strategy. This
process, which they have used with great effect since 1990, is now available
to all VSP Inc. clients.
